by jean-francois on Aug.13, 2011, under Equipments & Accessories
Electrolux Design Lab is an annual global design competition open to industrial design students invited to present innovative ideas for household appliances of the future. The competition theme for 2011 is ‘Intelligent Mobility’. More than 1,300 entries from more than 50 countries were received in the frame of this competition.
On of the eight finalist of this competition has focus my attention: Adam Miklosi with his Sous-Vide Cell Cooker.
Lets cross one’s fingers for Adam who will present his sous vide cooker design concept to a final jury at a live event in London on 7th September at the Room Home Intelligence Conference.

Hi Jean Francois, it’s a pity that your two last comparisons of sous-vide setup did not appear on the RSS feed for the site! I follow your excellent site that way and I missed the great posts! Also, no comments allowed on those comparisons…. a pity…
Please continue the great work, it’s extremelly useful.
Best,
Enrique

Hi Enrique. I’ll check if I can do something to improve the visibility of the tests. Thank you for your comments. Its a big work and I don’t have so much time. Most of the tests have been done so far but I am a bit lazy to write and post them…Just let me a little bit more time. Better check my Twitter account. I usually inform the followers when I have posted something I consider interesting.

Thanks Jean Francois! These are the most serious anaylisis I’ve seen of sous vide equipment on the internet, I look forward to the forthcoming entries. I am likely buying a circulator soon (i already own a SVS Demi), I understand your recommendation is the SWID, isn’t it? It’s on top of my list for features/price.
What’s your twitter account? I can’t find it on the site…
